My dad isn’t a perfect man, but he has been a wonderful father. As all of us, there’s always room for improvement, but I daresay he doesn’t have as much to work on as most of us!
He was one of 14 children. He was working in the fields of his father’s farm long before, but had his first official paying job at the age of 12. His idea of being a good father was to put a roof over our heads, food on the table, clothes on our back, and make sure that his household served the Lord.
He always told us he loved us, but he showed it even more in the ways he provided and cared for us.
Thank God for godly dads!
